Corné Theron

"I am a contemporary figurative artist.  I studied law, but wanted to explore other avenues of self-expression. I am largely self-taught, though my career began with classes at Rust-en-Vrede Gallery in Durbanville.
My work is available in galleries in South Africa and have been collected locally and internationally."

"Together with Breedekloof Wine and Tourism, I initiated the Breedekloof Art in the Heart platform and part of my passion is to use my art to create awareness of the needs of foster children and other destitute children. Having been a foster mom myself, I hope to inspire people to become involved in the biggest social need in my community. The Future of Hope project is geared towards supporting foster parents with various creative and informative workshops."
